We encourage schools and colleges to use The Trafford Centre as a resource for curriculum activites and students can benefit from the wide range of subject matter available and the experience of finding out how a major shopping centre works.
We do, however, have guidelines for students and teachers during their visit.
The Trafford Centre prides itself on a hassle-free environment, which enables customers to shop in the Centre with little disruption. We therefore do not allow market research/questionnaires in the malls or on the car parks.
We have incorporated information on market research that the Centre’s own research agency conducts in the Centre, and within the catchment area, in the information pack.
Photography/filming by student groups can only be permitted with authorisation by the Marketing and PR Department.
Students wishing to carry out any filming in the Centre must visit the Management Suite and ask for any member of the Marketing and PR Department. Interviews with customers are not permitted. If an interview is required with a representative from The Trafford Centre it must be arranged prior to the visit.
Please e-mail us at education@thetraffordcentre.co.uk to arrange this.
Filming/photography in any of The Trafford Centre retail/catering units MUST be authorised by the individual Store/Restaurant Manager.
We do not fill in questionnaires for students, although we are happy to arrange telephone interviews should there be issues that the information pack does not cover.
